Celebrity Justice
Lampley Accuser's Sexless Former Marriage

Candice Sanders Divorce docsCandice Sanders might want to think twice about getting hitched -- or engaged -- again. Before the beauty queen was engaged to Jim Lampley, she was married to another man who she says was unable to have sex her.

TMZ first reported that Sanders, the 2003 Miss California USA, accused sportscaster Jim Lampley of repeatedly throwing her against a wall on New Year's Eve and had him arrested. Today, we've obtained court documents, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, that annulled the former Miss California USA's marriage to a Jehovah's Witness, Marlon Muller. Sanders claimed "there was fraud in [Muller's] representations of his ability to have children and participate in marital sexual relations," that Muller promised to give up "his practice of being a Jehovah's Witness" and that their "planned children would not be raised as a Jehovah's Witness." Apparently the court agreed and annulled the marriage after just six months.

Lampley, for his part, has denied Sanders' allegations, and hasn't acknowledged that he is (or was) engaged to Sanders.

16. Read the court documents.

Muller is IMPOTENT, and he kept this from Sanders until after the wedding.

"... There was fraud in respondent's representation of his ability to have children and participate in marital sexual relations."

He was only UNWILLING to raise a child who was not a Jehovah's Witness, which in itself would be fine, except that he told Candice otherwise prior to the marriage.

"The Court finds that there was fraud in the inception in the marriage based on the respondent's religious promises and the anticipated religion of any children of the marriage...."

17. Court papers may say one thing but reality is that is absolutely ridiculous to accuse Jehovah's Witnesses of abstaining from sex within the marriage arrangement.
The apostle Paul in the book of 1 Corinthians made it very clear that each partner was responsible for fulfilling their "due" to each other.. in other words having sex and wanting to engage as much as the other partner needs.
In fact if one was to abstain sex from their marriage partner and "hold out" as it were, they would be guilty of violating scriptual counsel and admonition.

18. OBVIOUSLY, this young lady has "issues". 1st with her former husband and then with Lampley. Any idiot "looks before they leap" and everyone knows that what you marry is what you accepted. She just changed her mind and then lied all over him to get out of it. The courts decided to believe her.

I AM one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we don't play these kinds of games. Her 1st husband was of questionable character for marrying someone who didn't share his faith and he obviously had issues, himself. Not exactly a spiritual dynamo if he chose to marry someone with whom he had NOTHING in common spiritually when he was surrounded by beautiful women with whom he DID share religious beliefs.

But the article was written so as to give the impression that Jehovah's Witnesses are somehow forbidden to have sexual relations after marriage and this is rediculous. Where do all the baby Witnesses come from? The cabbage patch? Get a clue. People just like bashing Witnesses. I read an article where someone had not set foot in a Kingdom Hall since she was 18; at 50 something she drove drunk and killed someone and they mentioned that she was once one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Do they mention a 40 years past religious affiliation if someone was once Catholic? Or once Methodist? No.

Jehovah's Witnesses are normal, happy, warm, loving people. The only thing that is different about us is that we do actually know the Bible and live by our faith. It's not just "our religion". It's our life. It's who and what we are. Perhaps, Mr. Muller forgot that for a hot minute, but I bet the humiliating morass he found himself in reminded him. After all, "... he who has dealings with (morally) stupid ones will fare badly." - Proverbs 13:20

19. And, Shelly .....

1) We don't sell Watchtowers and

2) Maybe he'd have rather done ANYTHING than touch you. Maybe you are just that repellant.

I don't know, of course, but your post certainly does seem to shed light on why he may have preferred other activities to possible exposure to lethal pathogens.

20. Its not that the Jehovah's Witness named Marlon Muller would not have sex with Sanders. He simply wanted Sanders to tape a copy of the Watchtower to her forehead so he could keep up with the latest cult news while he worked. Having sex with a Jehovah's Witness must be as exciting as having your yard mowed. Can you imagine what this country would be like if there were twice as many JWs as there are now. Wait! Probably like Afghanistan is with Muslims.

21. Jehovah's Witnesses ARE NOT NORMAL they are a cult of pretend and everything is fake with them. The 1914 year that Jesus had his second coming and made the Watchtower leaders the world rulers is all fake. How loving and happy they are is all fake.

They are lousy in bed too.

22. Let me just say that I was disfellowshipped (ex-communicated) from the Jehovah's Witness faith, and while sex IS allowed in marriage.....certain types of sex acts are definately frowned upon.....So maybe little miss just wasn't getting what she needed in certain areas.
